frequently asked questions

Top Questions I have received about Real Estate Photography and my business:

What is the best time of day to have your house photographed?

-I prefer in Spring and Summer seasons to shoot between 9-4pm.  This does not mean I will not shoot at any other time.  I can shoot up until right after sunset.  In Fall and Winter seasons, I can shoot anywhere from 10am-6pm.  I try to let the sun come up and the haze go away.

Will you shoot if it is raining outside?

-Typically the answer is no, unless there is a break in the weather.  When it is raining, colors usually don't pop as well and lets be honest, I don't want to get my camera wet.  It is best to wait until the weather clears.

What do I (the owner or realtor of the property) need to do to get ready for a shoot?

-It is best to de-clutter.  Try to get rid of or hide anything in the room that does not help the sale of a house; such as, water bottles, scattered clothes, remote controls, cell phone chargers, tissue boxes, bathroom wash cloths, shampoos/conditioners, lotions/perfumes, etc.  Picture what you would want to walk into if you were going to see a property for the first time.

What is the usual turnaround time to get the pictures back?

-I like to say around 24 hours.  That does not mean it will take me the entire time but I will get them back to you before that time.   Sometimes I will finish editing at night and will like to take one last look in the morning to make sure I am happy with the outcome.

How can I (the owner or realtor of the property) pay MNP?

-You can pay me with a credit card or bank account, Venmo or PayPal through the invoice I send due the day of your shoot or with a check or cash at the shoot.

Now that MNP offers Virtual Staging, is the price per photo or for a package?

       -Virtual staging is per photo.
